Museum of Glass Grand Lobby offers a spacious setting for receptions and banquets overlooking the Thea Foss Waterway. The Hot Shop can also be included so guests can watch artists create with molten glass from its amphitheater – a unique and educational entertainment!
Tacoma Art Museum Designed by famous architect Antoine Predock, this steel and glass facility features a soaring entry, ascending galleries wrapped around a central outdoor courtyard with a “wave” of ancient pavers, and views of the Thea Foss Waterway and Mt. Rainier. It includes early works by internationally renown native son Dale Chihuly, Northwest artists, impressionists, classics and special exhibits.
Washington State History Museum This fascinating facility offers mezzanine space above its interactive and multimedia exhibits on the people, places and industries that shaped Washington State’s history.
Union Station A restored 1911 landmark, this historic former train station now hosts special events and banquets in its stunning rotunda under a 700-piece glass chandelier and surrounding glass art by Dale Chihuly.
Chambers Bay Golf Course The first Scottish links-style, championship course in Pierce County – and Washington State – features a 2,800-square-foot event pavilion and surrounding outdoor patio overlooking the 250-acre, 18-hole golf course designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones II. Beyond are sweeping views of Puget Sound, scenic islands and the majestic Olympia Mountains.
